Disgruntled, he decided to try to build an iPhone game he thought of during basic training. Realizing that programming was hard, he dug through the social mire of the internet and teamed up with Henry Hardy and Paul Treloar to get things rolling. He was better as a leader than a programmer anyway_
With the trio complete, the boys started building fun things, and late night sessions of 'just trying one more thing' ended up with 1 completed game, 1 free to use cross platform game storage system, one client engagement analytics platform, and a patent on the previous systems_
As it turned out, Henry was engaged to this really awesome front end named Jaqueline Wheeler, who we were lucky enough to have jump into the pack and take over as our lead front end. She makes the web do things people think it can't do_
From the initial four, the team grew to incorporate a writer, a few back ends, this guy that hacked facebook twice, an android developer, a beagle, a unity developer, some front ends, and some designers. We have a team page to show everyone off_
Henry is a kid that likes tech. Passion about all things code related has led him to have a working understanding of lots of different things.
He works on whatever is needed, but has a primary strength in iOS and Unity Development.
Coach and mentor Paul Treloar is passionately committed to helping others achieve their success. Not only has he been involved in many successful businesses throughout his career but he has also spent many years immersed in education and surrounded by some of the most successful and influential people in the world.
Jacquie is responsible for anything that you see or interact with in your browser by OhDeer Games! She mainly loves to push the boundaries of front end development and work on experimental ideas, but a few years in corporate IT have taught her how to work on corporate projects, mentor people and run teams from a technical aspect.
Ruby is a final year Bachelor of Communications student at Griffith University, majoring in both journalism and public relations. While most kids were playing in the street, Ruby was pouring out her ideas onto paper.
Brendan Scarvel can be found on the White Hat Wall of Fame as someone who is acknowledged to have hacked facebook, responsibly. Leveraging off his ability to do this, Brendan uses his knowledge to attempt to break our systems, and then secure them against people who would attempt to do the same.
He's also a firefighter, and a life guard.
Rachel takes care of the offices admin needs - be that organising prize money for DRoP winners, or field new bussines enquiries.
She's basically the mother that keeps everything going in the background.
DRoP was OhDeer Games first publically launched cross platform title. It was also the only (that we're aware of) game to feature a cross platform high score system that also supported doing cross platform prizes. You can find it on the app store here, or the play store here.
For more information, or to check out the rankings, swing by the DRoP site here_
AmBit_Score was the back end platform that we originally created to take care of the storage of high scores and rankings across our first release, DRoP. After we built it though, we realised what a great platform it was for other game developers to use for their own game backends, and have released it for free use to the public. You can get more information on AmBit_Score or sign up for AmBit_Score here_
The Just Digital People #Bibs game was a quick throw together for our friends over at JustDigitalPeople, a Brisbane based recruitment agency that has had our back through the entire process of assembeling the team that we have here today. The #Bibs app was put together for the infamous #Bibs event held and hosted bi-anually by Just Digital People. The game was used to settle many disputes surrounding the the eternal question of "Who is more boss?"

We love to talk, hear ideas, host hack-a-thons, sponsor people, and just have a chat =]
